Swiss Crypto Cat is an artist from Switzerland, who explores a creative universe where new technologies, artificial intelligences, virtual, augmented and physical realities are mixed. His pseudonymous character was born in 2017, along with his interest in cryptocurrencies. As of 2019, he turned to virtual reality to sculpt and build worlds to display his creations online. He then has ambitions to turn these digital works into real ones, combining them with augmented reality. During his experiments, AI (artificial intelligence) was also naturally added to his techniques contributing to the originality of his works. If the cat is his totem animal, the one nicknamed Cato explores many other artistic avenues with a sharp eye. In particular, he has developed a portrait gallery illustrating animal identities, often inspired by the feline kingdom. Each portrait is the witness of a singular story that can be deciphered with the help of symbolic forms, colors, objects and sensations. Between anticipation of the future and vivacity of the moment, he creates tangible mirages and worlds without matter.
