For the first time in Paris, graffiti artist Laser 3.14 exposes his poetry, sprayed for more than fifteen years now through the city of Amsterdam where he comes from. In total anonymity, this passionate of words likes to be guided by his emotions, his life, the world around him, the times that changes, the manners of each other. His sentences, striking and simply tagged, bloom after dark, after long diurnal research to skim the most strategic spots. The passer-by then opens his eyes to bold statements, evoking both politics, popular culture, everyday life, such as urban and contemporary poetry writers of the 19th and 20th century.
Laser 3.14, who has been writing and painting since the 80's, continues his literary enjoyment on recovered and accumulated media, intended to be presented in a gallery. Exhibited at The Hague Museum, the Stedelijk Museum, the Historical Museum of the City of Amsterdam, Laser 3.14 has also been awarded the PAX Peace Prize for its work in raising awareness of global stability.
