Urbaneez launches the first marketplace entirely dedicated to Urban Contemporary Art. https://www.urbaneez.art

Created for Graffiti and Street Art lovers from all over the world, Urbaneez aims to make urban art accessible to everyone through online sales. Available as of today on Urbaneez.art, the platform showcases more than one hundred original artworks proposed by renowned galleries and talented independent artists.

Over the past ten years, Graffiti and Street art have given birth to the most prolific artistic movement of the 21st cen-tury: Urban Contemporary Art. Going beyond the usual codes of the art world in showing their work to the public in the streets, urban artists have since been represented by many galleries, auction houses, museums, fairs and festi-vals throughout the world. Fueled by graffiti and street artists, Urban Contemporary Art has always been composed by different styles and techniques. Whether it is called wildstyle or cartoon and whether urban artists use spray cans or stencils, all forms have since been sublimed on many media. Already invited to present their works in galler-ies during the 1970s, the intensive use of social networks in recent years has led to a renewed interest in this artistic expression among a much wider audience.

About Urbaneez
Initiated by Grégory Slinn after a professional career of more than 10 years in the media world, it is thanks to his experience in the watchmaking industry whose codes are very close to the art world and his passion for urban art that the project was born. His network and his many encounters has enabled him to develop the platform Urbaneez and prepare his catalogue which is now just waiting to be known by the general public and early enthusiasts. His goal is to position Urbaneez as a key player on the online art market and that the company Art Meets You Sàrl plays an active role in the promotion of urban artists, either by coordinating mural projects (individuals or professionals) or by organizing specific events to promote artists in countries or regions where they are not represented yet.
