Saype - Fresco "Beyond Crisis" - Leysin - Switzerland SAYPE Outside
The artist Saype presented Sunday in Leysin, Switzerland, his new giant fresco, created in connection with the coronavirus crisis. The Fribourgeois by adoption evokes the next world with a little girl who fixes the horizon. Called "Beyond Crisis", this fresco of over 3000 m2 was painted in a field on the heights of Leysin, at the Prafandaz pass. The little girl is surrounded by a farandole of small characters, drawn in an arc, whose shape could make one think of the tips of a coronavirus.
The work was carried out on the private land of a farmer, with whom Saype arranged. He used his usual paint, namely a 100% biodegradable product based in particular on chalk and charcoal. The lifespan of his work will depend on the weather and the regrowth of the grass. "I estimate it between two weeks to a month", notes the native of Belfort (France), now based in Bulle (FR).
